As long as Tim Tebow is in the NFL, there will always be a connection drawn between him and the Jacksonville Jaguars. While the team has never had the former-Florida Gators quarterback on roster, the media will forever assume that Tebow's ideal place in the league is in teal.
Despite speculation that Tebow may not even make the trip to Jacksonville due to a ribs injury that withheld him from a 7-6 victory over the Cardinals in Week 13, he did make the trip and is active for Sunday's game. Inactive at quarterback for the Jets is Greg McElroy, the second-year quarterback from Alabama that led the Jets to its one and only touchdown against the Cardinals.
For the Jaguars, the inactive list offered few surprises as it is mostly filled with players declared out earlier in the week. However, defensive end John Chick is a healthy scratch against the Jets, while Jeris Pendleton will be active for only the second time in 2012.
