2012 NFL Salary Cap Set At $120.6 Million

For the past few weeks with franchise tags being handed down, the official numbers that teams would pay for the positions were still kind of up in the air because the actual salary cap hadn't been released. Well, Jay Glazer was able to scoop everyone once again and reported that the cap will be set at $120.6 million, just $225,000 more than last season.

Now that the official salary cap is set, we also get the official numbers for the franchise tags. Jason La Canfora of NFL Network gives us those numbers.

This means that Josh Scobee's official franchise tag number is $2.65 million. Most of these numbers are virtually the same across the board for the positions as were originally projected.
