The Jaguars announced on Twitter today that they have placed restricted free agency tenders to three players. Linebacker Russell Allen received a 2nd round tender while William Middleton and Courtney Greene each received original round tenders (5th round and 7th round, respectively).
The tenders mean that the three players will reach the open free agency market, but a potential suitor would have to give up a draft pick of the tender's designated value to the Jaguars if they choose to sign the player. An original round tender designates that if a team signs that player, they have to give a draft pick equal to the round that the player was originally drafted in.
The announced designations means that Leger Douzable is now an unrestricted free agent.
