The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed restricted free agent linebacker Russell Allen, according to a report by Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union.
Scratch that Russell Allen 2nd-round tender. He and the #Jaguars have agreed to a three-year deal, a source tells me. #Jaguars

Russell Allen originally signed with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent and played his way on to the Jaguars active roster showing his versatility. Russell Allen started some of the season for the Jaguars once Clint Session went out of the lineup with a concussion and played fairly well. The Jaguars like Allen because of his versatility, being able to fill in at all three linebacker positions. The Jaguars placed a second-round tender on Allen, as he was a restricted free agent but have now removed it with a three-year deal.
The terms of his deal have not been disclosed.
