Fielding many questions about the Jaguars interest in Tim Tebow, Jaguars owner Shad Khan released a statement that won't change the speculation much, if at all. "We won’t comment on players who are not members of the Jaguars organization," Khan said. "But I would like to wish Peyton Manning the very best in the AFC West."

Michael Lombardi is reporting that Peyton Manning is currently finalizing a contract with the Denver Broncos, ending his 14 year run as the AFC South's king. There's a part of me that's disappointed to see him leave, but another part of me is glad to see him gone. For awhile, it appeared that Manning would simply make the transition to the Tennessee Titans and remain a pain in the Jaguars' asses for a few years more, but that possibility is now put to bed with Manning signing with the Broncos.

Reunited at receiver

Jerry Sullivan’s message to Laurent Robinson was as clear as it was obvious. Sullivan, the Jaguars’ wide receivers coach, said while he is not in the business of predicting success or failure or making unkeepable promises, doing so wasn’t necessary last week when discussing with Robinson the possibility of joining the Jaguars.
