Some Jaguars Players Don't Want Tebow

While fans and writers here have voiced their opinion on wanting to bring in Tim Tebow one way or the other, one thing that is often forgotten is how a move of that magnitude will effect a locker room. The Jacksonville Jaguars have worked hard to build a good locker room of players and a stable group of players. Injecting in a circus like what Tim Tebow could bring could not only shatter a fragile fan base that's clearly divided on the issue, but it could also disrupt a very strong locker room.

One player in particular who does not want the Jaguars to make a move for Tim Tebow is starting guard Uche Nwaneri.

Nwaneri has long been vocal he's not a Tim Tebow fan, dating back to the offseason prior to the 2010 NFL Draft. Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton also displayed his disinterest on twitter as well when he found out about fake twitter accounts tweeting that a trade had been made.

I'm sure Uche will read this, but he knows this isn't stirring the pot. It's a look inside the locker room, as Uche has always been a player willing to tell it like it is after games, on the radio, etc.
