The 2012 preseason schedule has been released already, albeit without dates and times, but the 2012 NFL Schedule is set to be released on Tuesday evening. Last season the release date of the schedule was figured out early because of how ESPN blocked off some of their programming. The sports networks usually do a block of programming for a schedule special.
It's no different this year, as ESPN has blocked off some scheduling for April 17th, which is when the NFL schedules will be released. We'll be able to find out if the Jacksonville Jaguars get any primetime games this season, as they had a total of three in the 2011 season with two Monday Night games and a Thursday night game on NFL Network. I imagine the Jaguars may get at least one or two, as they do play the Indianapolis Colts twice which will feature the No. 1 overall pick and also host the New York Jets and Tim Tebow.
