The Jaguars announced on the team's official Twitter account today the release of third-year safety Darcel McBath. A second round selection by the Broncos in the 2009 NFL Draft, McBath was waived by Denver after just two seasons and one career start.
McBath was claimed by the Jaguars in December of the 2011 season to supplement their injury-riddled secondary, appearing in just one game and recording one tackle.
