Perhaps the most damning evidence against former Saints and Jaguars defensive coordinator Gregg Williams came out today in a story by Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports. Audio recorded by Sean Pamphilon, a documentary filmmaker working on a project about Saints folk hero Steve Gleason who is suffering from ALS, recorded Williams instructing Saints players to injure specific 49ers before the teams' playoff game.

This is an important offseason for Terrance Knighton, who is heading into the final year of his contract. I wrote in today's paper that he is looking to prove he can keep his weight under control, and took the first step by coming into the Jaguars offseason program in better shape than when last the Jaguars saw him. In fact, Knighton said he's in the best shape he's been in since his rookie year. Knighton still has some weight to lose to get to his ideal playing weight, which is in the 330s or 340s, but this is a good start.
