Top 100 NFL Players: Two Jaguars Make The Cut

It's a bit of a dead period of the NFL offseason as OTAs are just starting up, which means it's that time of the year when lists and rankings begin to come out. Local radio host and CBS Sports NFL writer Pete Prisco released his Top 100 NFL Players list today, and two Jacksonville Jaguars made the cut. One of them found himself ranked as a Top 20 player in the league.

19 (2010 Ranking - 37) - Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville:

He led the league in rushing for a team that couldn't throw the football. He was a one-man band.

82 (2010 Ranking - NR) - Daryl Smith, Jacksonville:

He is a quiet leader of a defense that made big strides last season. Smith isn't flashy, and he doesn't get sack numbers, but he's one of the game's best 4-3 outside linebackers.

The only real surprise is Smith made the list, as he's often over looked despite being one of the top outside linebackers in the NFL. Prisco is based out of Jacksonville however, so he knows about him.
