During the dead zone there really isn't much to talk about, so hypotheticals and lists end up being a pretty fun way to spend the days waiting for football season to get here. The guys over at Pats Pulpit, our resident New England Patriots blog, had a pretty good idea to talk about during the offseason.
Imagine we're picking a flag football team comprised of players from the 2012 Jaguars roster. The rules for picking your team are simple: there are seven roster spots on your team and each player selected will be required to play on both sides of the ball. So who do you take?
Obviously you'll need to select a quarterback, or at the very least, someone to throw the football. What you certainly don't need our lineman, especially considering they'll either have to run routes or play some defensive back.
So who are your seven selections? I'll be making mine through the week starting with my first selection on Tuesday.
