We've come to my last pick, and the final selection between myself and Adam for our hypothetical flag football teams.

With Adam picking Marcedes Lewis, whom I was leaning heavily towards for this pick, I had to reevaluate how I wanted to wrap up my team. After taking Derek Cox earlier in the selections, I have had a pretty significant run on the offensive side of the ball, and while that should work out well for me in terms of putting up a lot of points, I don't necessarily have another player I can rely on as a certainty in the secondary to counter Adam's offensive weapons.

So since I'm looking for a top defensive player, with the ability to possibly be efficient enough on offense that he's not a liability, I'm picking Jaguars safety Dwight Lowery.

Lowery gives me a multi-purpose weapon on defense, having played at a high level in the NFL as a free safety and also being an All-American at cornerback while at San Jose St. He also stands to be able to hold his own on the offensive side, as he was recruited out of high school as a running back. So I'm assuming he has the ability to catch a few balls and create some plays in space once he does.

I know some folks will ask why not take Chad Henne here, but as I stated with my first pick of Zach Miller, I prefer my quarterback in this setting to be athletic and possess the versatility to do many things for my team, not just throw the ball. I feel I have a distinct advantage over Adam's team for this very fact.

Hope you guys enjoyed this series, as Adam and I have. I wish his team luck in the polling, though I'm pretty confident my squad will pull this one out.
