The Jacksonville Jaguars report for training camp on July 26 with practices beginning July 27. One of the big focuses for fans and media alike for training camp in 2012 will be at the quarterback position. It will be the first real time we will get an extended look at second year quarterback Blaine Gabbert and what kind of progress he's made during the offseason.

The Jaguars brought in Chad Henne as a backup in free agency, but the contract and signing have led some to wonder if the team will hold an open competition with Henne having the chance to win the job. Henne's contract however is right in line with some other backup quarterbacks this season (Kyle Orton, Jason Campbell, etc.) and isn't much different the team handed out to Cleo Lemon in 2008.

Gabbert will still need to have a strong camp and preseason however, as he tries to prove his abysmal 2011 rookie season was just a culmination of being in a terrible situation.
