The Jacksonville Jaguars report for training camp on July 26 with practices beginning July 27. An area of concern for the Jaguars heading into training camp is on the defensive line. The team brought back defensive end Jeremy Mincey, on the heels of a new four-year deal. Outside of Mincey however, the rest of the Jaguars defensive line is a massive question mark. The other starting defensive end is up in the air and a lot of the line currently looks like a M.A.S.H. unit.
The opposite defensive end on the line is still unknown, will it be rookie Andre Branch or Austen Lane, who's coming back from a season ending shoulder injury? At the defensive tackle position, both 2011 starters in Terrance Knighton and Tyson Alualu are on the mend. Alualu is recovering from knee surgery and we don't know yet if he'll be cleared to start training camp. Knighton is still recovering from his issue involving his eye, and while he's ahead of schedule he still hasn't been totally cleared to get back on the field.
