Jacksonville Jaguars fullback Naufahu Tahi has left the team for personal reasons, according to Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey after practice on Friday afternoon.

It was unlikely Tahi would make the Jaguars roster as is, as he would need to beat out one of Greg Jones, Montell Owens, and Brock Bolin. Mularkey did not elaborate why Tahi was leaving the team but did note that he was leaving the team permanently.

Tahi was signed by the Jaguars back in May after the team hosted some veterans and rookies for a try out. Tahi has spent most of his five-year career with the Vikings where he played in 56 career games and made 14 starts.
