Will Rackley Injury: Jaguars OG On Crutches After Being Carted Off

The Jacksonville Jaguars got back on to the practice field on Tuesday in full pads for the first time in 2012. With pads however, comes contact, which comes injury. Jaguars second-year left guard Will Rackley was carted off the field after a running back rolled up on his ankle. I didn't personally see the play, but Rackley left the field and didn't return.

After practice however, Rackley was seen on crutches and not putting weight on his ankle. This could leave the Jaguars offensive line in a bind, which only had Eben Britton as a starter today on the offensive line. Brad Meester got a day off, Eugene Monroe was on the sideline with his left knee wrapped, and Uche Nwaneri was just coming off of the PUP list.

Also of note, the Jaguars waived T.J. Heath on Tuesday but have yet to fill his roster position. It's possible they could hold the slot open, just in case a deal with Justin Blackmon is close.
