State of the Titans Roster: Middle Linebacker - Music City Miracles
The Titans let Stephen Tulloch walk away last offseason and signed Barrett Ruud. I am ashamed to admit that I thought that was the right move at the time. That didn't work out so well last season, but think about it this way- if the Titans re-signed Tully they might not have drafted Colin McCarthy. So we should think Barrett Ruud. 2012 Colts Position Breakdowns: the Offensive Line - Stampede Blue
Even the most durable quarterbacks cannot last behind a bad offensive line, and even the best running backs cannot consistently produce if the line cannot run block. Colts fans have seen plentyof both. In 2010, Peyton Manning was injured after being hit repeatedly (it happened week one against Houston and it continued throughout the year). The real issue with the Colts run game in recent years has been, in my opinion, largely an offensive line problem.
Last week, we took a look at the respective offenses of each of the ‘deemed’ contending teams – the good guys (the Houston Texans) and the old money trio of the Steelers, Ravens, and Patriots. While being a contender is nice, the goal here is to find out which team should be THE team to beat heading into the 2012 NFL season.
