The Jacksonville Jaguars and commissioner Roger Goodell will announce that the Jaguars will play at least one "international game" from 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 for a total of four games, according to a report by Sam Kouvaris of Channel 4 News in Jacksonville.
When the St. Louis Rams pulled out of the NFL games to be played in London for the 2013 and 2014, it left the door open for a team like the Jacksonville Jaguars to throw their hat into the ring and volunteer to fill the void for one of the games.
The Minnesota Vikings are another team that was often mentioned in the rumblings about filling the void in London, but as mentioned Jaguars owner Shad Khan thinks it will be a good way to grow the Jaguars brand internationally. With one home game being overseas, it will also decrease the overall cost of Jaguars season tickets, as fans will be paying for only nine games rather than 10.
