The Jacksonville Jaguars have released running back DuJuan Harris as one of the early cuts to trim the roster from 90 to 75 players. Harris sent out an ominous tweet and later verified that he had been released from the team. In the 2012 NFL preseason, Harris didn't get much playing time as guys like Montell Owens, Keith Toston, and Jalen Parmele worked their way up the depth chart.

Harris was a player that stood out in training camp and the preseason in 2011, initially making the practice squad. Harris wound up on the active roster late in the year and was active for five games, carrying the ball nine times for 42 yards. In the 2012 preseason Harris played in just the first game, getting three carriers for 13 yards and one reception for 4 yards.

Harris was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in the 2011 offseason out of Troy.
