With kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. ET, the Jaguars will finish up their 2012 preseason on Thursday with a game at Everbank Field against the Atlanta Falcons.

As is customary for the final preseason game of the year, both teams are likely to be very cautious with their starting players, although Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey has said that the uninjured starters will play, but for no more than the first quarter.

Instead the final preseason game is when the focus is heavily placed on the players that are on the bubble for a roster spot when teams make their final cuts over the weekend. Rookies like Joshua Jones, Kevin Elliott, Jeris Pendleton and Julian Stanford will have to prove themselves more valuable than veteran bubble players like Kevin Rutland, Corvey Irvin, Daniel Baldridge and Richard Murphy.

As for injuries, the Jaguars will be very cautious, sitting out Daryl Smith, Derek Cox, Montell Owens, Leigh Torrence, Will Rackley, Odrick Ray, Zach Miller, George Selvie and Austen Lane for the game. Kyle Bosworth and William Middleton have been announced as replacement starters for Smith and Cox.
