The Jacksonville Jaguars held their final public practice on Sunday afternoon and the over 1,000 fans in attendance got an extra treat for attending the practice. The Jaguars invited fans and the players inside EverBank Field to watch Team U.S.A sprinter Sanya Richards-Ross compete in the Women's 400m Final in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Richards-Ross is the wife of Jaguars cornerback Aaron Ross, who was in London to watch his wife race live. Richards-Ross won the gold medal in the event, as fans and players eagerly watched a delayed showing of the even inside EverBank Field on the Jumbotron's.
It was nice of the Jaguars to allow Aaron Ross to skip out on some training camp and watch his wife compete in the Olympics, but it was also pretty spectacular for the team to hold an impromptu event inside the stadium for everyone to watch the race go down and watch Sanya Richards-Ross win the gold.
