The Jacksonville Jaguars have now completed training camping, setting the tone for a new look in a new season with a new coaching staff and a new owner. The general feeling around the franchise is different than in years past, partly because it's so much more organized. On Friday evening the New York Giants will make their way to EverBank Field for the two teams first set of live action for the 2012 season.
It will be the first time the team will get to see Blaine Gabbert, who's shown improvement in a lot of areas, against a real pass rush. In practice, Gabbert has looked comfortable in the pocket and hasn't been bothered by bodies and arms around him, but he also can't be hit. The Giants are going to bring a fierce pass rush that should be a good gauge for where Gabbert is at in that regard. It will also be the first time the team sees Laurent Robinson, the new look Cecil Shorts III, and some of the other receivers.
What will you be looking for on Friday?
