The Jacksonville Jaguars hit the practice field today in their final practices getting ready for their Friday night preseason match up with the New York Giants. The team has been hit with injuries on the offensive line as both Will Rackley and his backup Jason Spitz were hit with foot/ankle injuries and will be out for much of the preseason. Not only that, but left tackle Eugene Monroe has been dealing with a knee issue that's kept him out of some practices and swing tackle Cameron Bradfield is fresh off the PUP list.

On Thursday, the Jaguars had a different setup on their first team offensive line than they've had in the past week or so. Monroe was back in the lineup at his usual position, but Eben Britton was in the left guard position while Bradfield manned the right tackle spot. Guard is somewhere Britton played a bit last season before ultimately winding up in injured reserve. Bradfield has been a favorite among fans, deservedly so as he shined in the preseason at left tackle, and might be able to push his way into the lineup with Rackley being out at least four weeks.

Against the Giants pass rush, quarterback Blaine Gabbert will need all the help he can get on the offensive line.
