On Thursday, the Jaguars made a small adjustment to their practice squad, adding linebacker Mike Mohamed to the group, in exchange for linebacker Joshua Jones, according to Adam Caplan of Sirius XM Radio.

Mohamaed, a sixth round pick of the Broncos in the 2011 NFL Draft, spent time bouncing between the practice squad and active roster for the team in 2011, appearing in two games. While he didn't record a regular season tackle, he recorded 16 during preseason as a rookie and added four more in the 2012 preseason. However, he didn't make the final roster and the Broncos elected to cut ties with the linebacker and not sign him to their practice squad.

In adding him to their practice squad, the Jaguars elected to release Jones to make room. Jones, an undrafted rookie from Elon, signed with the Jaguars after the draft and remained with the team through training camp and preseason, recording seven tackles.
