Jaguars Vs. Colts Preview: Jacksonville Slight Underdog

The Jacksonville Jaguars enter Week 3 of the 2012 NFL season reeling off a 27-7 loss against the Houston Texans, one of the worst offensive showings in franchise history. The team is hoping to rebound against the Indianapolis Colts and pick up their first win of the season, on the road in Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Jaguars offense is still a big work in progress, with some questions and injuries still on the offensive line. The defense however should get a boost with cornerback Derek Cox likely being available for the game and most believing the Jaguars starting cornerbacks to open the game will be Cox and Rashean Mathis, their normal starters.

Luckily for the Jaguars offense against the Colts, they should be able to actually get something going. The Colts are breaking in their new 3-4 defense, but will be without two key players in linebackers Pat Angerer and Dwight Freeney.

Here's what OddsShark had to say about the game:

Andrew Luck hopes to continue the Indianapolis Colts' tradition of dominating the Jacksonville Jaguars alive this Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts are 15-7 SU in their last 22 games against Jacksonville and 8-3 SU in their last 11 home games against the Jags. Jacksonville is just 1-10 SU in its last 11 games on the road.
