As the Jacksonville Jaguars are preparing to face off against the Minnesota Vikings, they're finally starting to get some players back from injury. One player they may not get back in time for Sunday however, is cornerback Derek Cox. Cox once again missed practice on Monday and as it stands right now won't be playing against the Vikings.
"Probably not as we speak here," Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey said after practice on Monday. "I want to see how he feels after doing what he did. Even as little as he did today I want to see how he feels tomorrow."
Cox has missed most of training camp dealing with a "leg injury", but we'll find out what exactly the injury is when the team is required to list their first injury report of the season on Wednesday. As it stands right now however, William Middleton will be starting opposite Aaron Ross against Minnesota, with Rashean Mathis playing on the outside in nickel packages.
