On Monday night, Jaguars fans found an Internet treat when Timothy Bowers (@timmillah) found a flight tracker for Shahid Khan's private jet. The recent flight history shows a trip to Nashville, Tennessee on the Saturday before a Week 17 game between the Jaguars and Titans at LP Field and a trip back to Jacksonville, Florida shortly after the loss.
More interesting though, the tracker has given fans the opportunity to watch the Jaguars owner conduct a search for the new general manager of the team, shortly after relieving Gene Smith of the position. That began with a flight to Gainesville, Georgia where Khan reportedly met with Dave Caldwell before going home to Champaign/Urbana, Illinois for New Year's Eve.
Khan's latest travels? On Tuesday morning he scheduled a trip to San Jose, California, a city slightly south of San Francisco. It's purely speculative at this point, but Tom Gamble of the San Francisco 49ers has seemingly been the favorite to become the new GM of the Jaguars and a flight to the Bay Area for Khan would presumably involve a meeting with Gamble.
