Senior Bowl 2013: Game time, TV schedule, location and more

The Senior Bowl is a huge pre-NFL Draft chance for college football players to showcase their talents, and it kicks off Saturday afternoon.

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

On Saturday, some of the nation's best college football seniors take the field for the Senior Bowl in their continuing efforts to boost potential rankings and interest for the upcoming 2013 NFL Draft.

The Senior Bowl, which will take place at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., kicks off at 4 p.m. ET and will be aired on the NFL Network. Coaching the South team throughout the week has been Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz and his staff, while Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen and his coaches are guiding the North squad.

After wrapping up practice on Friday morning, both teams feature players who have elevated their draft stock over the week, as NFL scouts and analysts -- including many from SB Nation -- have covered every nook and cranny of the event.

Arrowhead Pride's BJ Kissel has been in Mobile all week, and even though quarterbacks are always a topic of conversation -- North Carolina St. Wolfpack quarterback Mike Glennon is one who has impressed in practice -- Kissel doesn't think anything too concrete can be taken from Senior Bowl workouts:

It seems that quarterbacks are always a touchy subject around here and the entire week has to be taken with a grain of salt both good or bad. This week isn't making or breaking anyone's draft stock. It might raise questions and create interest to go back and watch more tape on a particular player.

Another former quarterback gaining plenty of attention is former Michigan Wolverine Denard Robinson, who has been working out as a wide receiver.

In a nice writeup from SB Nation's Matt Weaver, Robinson is completely embracing the new role.

"I'm a receiver now," Robinson says in Weaver's story. "If I focus on missing playing quarterback, I won't be able to fully commit to being a better wide receiver."
