Jaguars vs. Broncos: First half game thread

Jeff Curry-USA TODAY Sports

The Jaguars will kickoff against the Denver Broncos at 4:05 p.m. as the biggest underdog in NFL history, as they'll look for their first win of the season against the undefeated Broncos who average 46 points per game.

As a 27-point underdog, it's obvious that the Jaguars will have to play much better than they have through the first five weeks to have any shot of even staying competitive. Particularly, the Jaguars will have to find a way to score points and that starts with Chad Henne.

Against the No. 32-ranked pass defense, the Jaguars will have to be able to put up points through the air with Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts III. Defensively, they'll have to all they can to hold on for dear life, as a lack of pass rush and youth in the secondary isn't a good combination against the experience of Peyton Manning.

Here are the inactives for today's game:

Jaguars

QB Blaine Gabbert
WR Stephen Burton
CB Dwayne Gratz
OG Jacques McClendon
OT DeMarcus Love
TE Marcedes Lewis
DE Jeremy Mincey

Broncos
