Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts III left Sunday's 35-19 loss to the Denver Broncos early on and had his arm in a sling when he left the stadium, according to Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union.
Shorts initial injury was listed as a shoulder sprain immediately after the game, but the receiver did not speak with the media afterwards because he was on pain medication and head coach Gus Bradley didn't elaborate on a timetable.
There's also a report from ESPN's Josina Anderson that Shorts could have a cracked rib near his sternum and will be having a CT scan Monday morning to see exactly what the damage is.
Whatever Shorts' official injury may be, it does appear that he could be out for at least a week and maybe longer, especially if it's a cracked rib he's dealing with.
