The Jacksonville Jaguars were a record breaking underdog against the Denver Broncos in Week 6 and ended up covering the spread, even being in position to potentially take the lead late in the game. Their performance on Sunday didn't do much to change the opinions of odds makers however, as they still opened up as a 10 point underdog against the San Diego Chargers on OddsShark.
I expected the Jaguars to be underdogs, but the Chargers are coming off a Monday Night Football matchup with the Colts and will also be making the cross country trip to Jacksonville, where the Chargers have only won once, back in 2011.
Realistically, if the Jaguars can carry the momentum from the game against the Broncos and play at that level against the Chargers they should have a good chance of at least covering the 10 points.
