Ace Sanders injury: Jaguars WR has concussion like symptoms

The Jaguars could be without their rookie return man against the Chargers.

The Jacksonville Jaguars could be without rookie wide receiver and return man Ace Sanders, as he missed practice on Wednesday due to concussion like symptoms. Sanders was targeted just three times in Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos, with one reception for nine yards, also returning two punts.

It's not clear at this time when Sanders might have suffered a concussion, if he in fact did, but it was likely sometime during the game.

If Sanders can't pass the concussion protocol prior to Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers, it's unlikey he will be active for the first time all season. He's been a spark in the punt return game since taking over, but with Mike Brown and Justin Blackmon back in the lineup, it could still be a loss in the passing game if Cecil Shorts III is also out for any length of time.
