The Jaguars will play overseas for the first time on Sunday, but it'll be the beginning of an era in London that will be interesting to watch as the team looks to rebuild from the ground up.
Ideally, the London fans, whom the Jaguars have exclusive marketing rights over, will have the opportunity to watch a bad team grow from the bottom of the NFL to a contender by the end of the team's four-year stretch in the NFL International Series.
While the European fans certainly don't have to embrace the team, and there's no guarantee that they will, I can think of no better scenario to entice potential fans than the opportunity to watch a team build from the ground up. Of course, that means those fans will have to start by watching a team that is very cleary in Step 1 and still looking for their first win of the season after seven losses.
If they are able to earn their first victory of the season, it would come in a large upset victory over the 5-2 San Francisco 49ers.
