49ers vs. Jaguars results: Lines of scrimmage the key

The Jaguars were beat up by the 49ers on Sunday and a big part of that was on the lines of scrimmage.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were beaten soundly by the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's lopsided 42-10 defeat at Wembley Stadium in London. While the game had a bit of "feel good" leading up, due to all the proceedings around England, it was a rude awakening from the start for the Jaguars.

Right out of the gate the Jaguars defense looked confused as they failed notice fullback Bruce Miller lined up wide on the sideline for an easy 43-yard catch and run to get the 49ers started. It was all downhill from there as the Jaguars were dominated on the line of scrimmage all game.

On the offensive side of the ball, while the Jaguars didn't give up a sack, they also didn't even hit the 100-yard rushing mark as a team. On the defense, they were worn down all day once again, this time by a superior offensive line, to the tune of over 200 rushing yards.

The game was once again a picture of the work Dave Caldwell has cut out for him rebuilding the roster, as there was a clear disparity in talent.
