The St. Louis Rams are in their second season under head coach Jeff Fisher and have had a three first round picks and three second round picks in each of the last two drafts with two more firsts coming in the 2014 NFL Draft. Despite this influx of young talent, the Rams haven't looked good at all as of late, though.
After a Week 1 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, the team has since lost three straight by a combined margin of 55 points. That said, there's still plenty of young talent on the team that could benefit the Jaguars.
Which Rams player should Jaguars fans want right now?
The Rams have been bad in every facet during their downward spiral, but there have been bright spots. Particularly, the Rams have seen continued growth from one half of their dynamic pass rushing duo that helped the team to a league-high 52 sacks in 2012.
A first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Rams defensive end Robert Quinn has quietly developed into one of the elite pass rushers in the NFL. After five sacks as a rookie, Quinn doubled his production in 2012 with 10.5 sacks and is on pace to exceed that mark with five sacks through five games in 2013.
At 6'4, 265 pounds, Quinn is a slightly undersized, pure pass rusher that would be an ideal fit for the Jaguars in the LEO role. With Jason Babin and Andre Branch struggling to provide any help in that role, Quinn would be the elite pass rusher that the team could build a defense around.
