The NFL trade deadline has come and passed like it does each year with little news or any blockbuster trades. One thing that the trade deadline brings however, is that it now means that all players released until the end of the season are subject to the waiver system.
This means the Jaguars have first crack at any players waiver from here on out.
That doesn't necessarily mean they're going to be claiming players left and right, but they'll have the first option to claim anyone released, including vested veterans who were not subject to waivers prior to the trade deadline.
The team is doing some roster evaluation and self scouting during the bye week, so it's possible some changes could be made to the team.
