The Jacksonville Jaguars will now be without one of their best offensive playmakers in Justin Blackmon, as he's been suspended indefinitely from the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Blackmon is now gone for at least the remainder of the 2013 NFL season with a possibility to return for the 2014 season, but in order to do so NFL commissioner Roger Goodell would have to reinstate him.
While the rest of Blackmon's guaranteed money in the four-year rookie deal the former Top 10 pick signed, his salary still doubles from this season to next, sitting at just over $2 million. That's potentially a lot of money for a player who's struggled to stay on the field because of trouble off of it.
Personally, I do think the Jaguars move on from him, because he's already broken the new regimes trust, twice. If he's kept on however, he would need to massively restructure his deal. Even if he's released in the offseason, it would be tough to see teams flocking to sign him, because how much do you pay a player who's already been suspended indefinitely after just 20 career games?
