The Jacksonville Jaguars saw their defense play more like they did in the start of the season in Sunday's win against the Tennessee Titans. They limited the run and frustrated the quarterback despite a lack of pass rush. Former Titans defensive lineman Sen'Derrick Marks had himself a nice return to Tennessee, however.
Marks ended up the Jaguars third highest graded defender on Sunday according to Pro Football Focus, rushing the passer. Marks finished Sunday's game with four pressures on the quarterback, bringing his season total of 14, which is the second most on the team.
One of the reason's Marks was so successful is that he took advantage of rookie offensive lineman Chance Warmack. Warmack struggled on the day in pass protection, picking up a second consecutive poor grade in pass protection in as many weeks.
Marks has been one of the few consistently good players on the Jaguars defense all season and is certainly making his case to be re-signed in the offseason, as he signed a one-year deal this season.
