Paul Posluszny injury: Jaguars LB cleared to return to practice

Posluszny sat out Week 11 after suffering a concussion in the week prior.

The Jaguars defense played without linebacker Paul Posluszny on Sunday, but the veteran should be ready to return for Week 12 after he was cleared to return to the practice field on Monday, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.

Posluszny, 29, suffered a concussion in the team's Week 10 win over the Tennessee Titans and sat out the first game of his career on Sunday against the Cardinals. While the team allowed 416 yards of total offense to the Cardinals in Posluszny's absence, the Jaguars had a season-best performance against the run, allowing just 14 yards rushing.

Originally drafted by the Bills in the second-round of the 2007 NFL Draft, Posluszny joined the Jaguars during the 2011 offseason and started each of his first 41 games with the team before missing his first game since joining the team. He was replaced in the lineup at middle linebacker by Russell Allen, allowing rookie John Lotulelei to get his first career start.

Posluszny has eight career sacks and 11 interceptions in seven NFL seasons.
