2014 NFL Draft order: Jaguars cling to first pick

The Jaguars earned a win in Week 12, but that didn't knock them out of the top spot in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Jaguars defeated the Houston Texans in Week 12 and earned a second win in 2013, but their strength of schedule is still low enough to keep the team in control of the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft with just five weeks remaining.

While the Jaguars, Texans and Falcons each have 2-9 records, with the Vikings just barely behind at 2-8-1, the Jaguars still have a five-game lead on the Texans for the top spot. With five weeks left to play and plenty of competition for opponents, the strength of schedule is certainly subject to change, although it will be difficult for the Texans to make up many games considering the two teams have very similar schedules.

Ultimately though, the Jaguars have back-to-back games against the Browns and Texans, each of whom are primed to pick in the top 10. The results of those games will have a large impact on the 2014 Draft order.

Here are the top 12 selections as they stand with five weeks remaining:

1 Jacksonville Jaguars 2-9 91-84 0.520
2 Houston Texans 2-9 96-79 0.549
