NFL playoff picture: Jaguars are 3 games out of Wild Card, wait what?

After the Jaguars picked up their second win of the season, they're shockingly still in contention for an AFC Wild Card spot.

Thomas Campbell-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars picked up their second win of the season, moving to 2-9 and equalling their win total from 2012. Surprisingly however, the Jaguars are not mathematically eliminated from the NFL playoffs yet, nor are they that far behind from a Wild Card spot.

Given how poor the AFC has been this season, at 2-9 the Jaguars are just three games out of a Wild Card spot.

The Jaguars would need a significant amount of help, plus winning out the rest of the season to make it even a possibility, but it's still hilarious that the worst team in NFL history is just three games out of a playoff spot.
