The Cleveland Browns announced on Wednesday that Brandon Weeden would be starting at quarterback against the Jacksonville Jaguars, replacing an injured Jason Campbell. Campbell suffered a concussion against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Browns loss last week and was going through the protocols, but it appears he's out for Sunday's game.
Weeden began the season as the Browns starting quarterback, but injuries and poor play quickly led to him finding himself on the bench before injuries brought him back on to the field.
On the season, Weeden has completed 51.5 percent of his passes for 1,361 yards with six touchdowns and seven interceptions. Last season Weeden passed for over 3,000 yards with 14 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.
