The Jacksonville Jaguars could be without running back Maurice Jones-Drew on Sunday, but it possibly bigger news, wide receiver Cecil Shorts III missed his second consecutive day of practice, dealing with a groin injury that has been nagging him for a few weeks.
Shorts has just two receptions in the Jaguars last win against the Houston Texans, but one of them was for a touchdown, as he picked up back-to-back touchdowns for the first time all season.
Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said in Thursday's press conference that Shorts was held out again and could be a game time decision in Sunday's matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
The Jaguars are thin as is at wide receiver, but without Shorts they could be put in a real bind.
