2014 NFL Draft order: Jaguars climb to 3rd following loss

New, comments

The Jaguars' winning streak came to an end on Sunday, but wins for the Vikings and Falcons bumped them into a better position for the 2014 NFL Draft.

A three-game winning streak didn't make it to four for the Jacksonville Jaguars, as the Buffalo Bills brought to an end with a 27-20 victory at EverBank Field on Sunday. In the long-term though, the loss helps the Jaguars as it inched them into better position in the 2014 NFL Draft.

With another loss, the Jaguars fell to 4-10, but the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings each earned their fourth victories of the year and fell in the order.

The final weeks of the season are predominantly filled with divisional games, meaning the strength of schedule tiebreaker isn't very flexible. While the two-game difference between the Raiders and Jaguars could be erased, the larger gaps between the Jaguars and teams like the Falcons and Buccaneers can not be.

Here are the top 12 selections as they stand through the first 15 weeks of the season:
