Big Cat Country is hiring

Do you like writing about the Jacksonville Jaguars? Well, you might get paid to do it.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

Big Cat Country is always looking to bring on contributors to write about the Jacksonville Jaguars. Typically contributor positions are unpaid, volunteer, with no requirements. At times however we will offer a paid position to be a contributor to the website that has some requirements the person must adhere to.

We're currently looking to add a paid contributor for the site as soon as possible.

If you are interested in writing for the site as a paid contributor, please contact me via e-mail AND NO OTHER METHOD. Send an e-mail with the headline "BCC paid contributor position" to alfiebcc at gmail dot com.

Requirements: Basic understanding of the NFL, good knowledge of the Jacksonville Jaguars franchise, coaching staff, and roster. Familiarity with football terminology, the ability to produce written material quickly. Familiarity with blogging in general, familiarity with SEO and basic HTML knowledge.

The contributor position will also be required to post at least 5 original stories a week, with at least 150 words in length. This will not be a "break news" type position and it will have some built-in weekly assignments for the contributor to do in the beginning.

Compensation will be discussed in private. It will not be a full-time job type position, so do not expect that.

If you cannot or do not meet the above requirements, please do not apply.
