As the season grinds to a end for the Jaguars, the list of injuries continue to pile up.

After placing Brandon Deaderick on injured reserve earlier on Monday, the Jaguars added defensive tackle Roy Miller to the list this afternoon. To fill his spot on the roster, the Jaguars signed defensive tackle Drake Nevis according to Mark Long of the Associated Press.

Nevis was a third-round pick out of LSU by the Colts during the 2011 draft and was cut by the Colts prior to the start of the 2013 season. Since leaving Indy, Nevis had a brief stop with Chargers and then played a majority of his 2013 season with the Cowboys before being released earlier in December.

Like the guy he replaced on the Jaguars active roster, Nevis is a big-bodied run stopper who is well suited to play the one-technique defensive tackle position in Gus Bradley's defensive scheme. With the mounting injuries along the interior of the Jaguars defensive line, expect to see Nevis and Kyle Love to see some action during Sunday's season finale against the Colts.
