The Jaguars are certainly a depleted group at this point in the season and it has showed in the team's Week 17 game against the Indianapolis Colts, as they enter halftime down 20-3.
Quarterback Chad Henne doesn't have his usual top targets as Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts III are done for the year, but he's been bad, regardless. A miscommunication led to an intentional grounding penalty that essentially ended one drive and a late attempt to cut into the Colts lead ended with a bad interception that set the Colts up for a field goal just before half.
The Colts didn't have much trouble driving the field against the Jaguars defense either, as T.Y. Hilton racked up nine receptions for 95 yards in the first half. Andrew Luck had several passes nearly get intercepted, but the Jaguars couldn't capitalize on the opportunities.
Indianapolis will receive the kickoff to begin the second half.
