Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew seemed to get into a groove and look like his former self against the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football, but left the game early on an awkward fall and appears to have hurt his hamstring.
Jones-Drew broke a tackle on one of his runs and stepped awkwardly, making it look like a non-contact knee injury initially, but after the game told reporters it was his hamstring and he would be ready to play against the Buffalo Bills next week.
Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley in his Friday press conference confirmed it was a hamstring injury, but the team will know more after Jones-Drew has an MRI on his leg.
