On the other side of the coin their opponent this week, the Buffalo Bills, have lost four of their last five games. Even with those trends, the Jaguars still opened up as a 4.5 point underdog according to OddsShark.com.
Some other books have the Bills as a two point favorite, but it's still a bit odd to see the Jaguars, who are piping hot right now, as a home underdog to a Bills team who's struggled in recent weeks with their only win coming over the Atlanta Falcons.
Now it's also worth noting that betting lines are generally made to get people to bet on both teams, so this line also plays with the public perception that still exists that the Jaguars are the worst team ever.
