With just a couple hours until Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton officially becomes a free agent, there is a market out there for his services, as five teams have been in contact with Knighton's camp and three have serious interest, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Denver Post said that the Broncos were a team that had Knighton on their radar. While other teams were not listed by either the Denver Post or Rapoport, the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, New York Giants and Miami Dolphins are other teams that could make sense as potential landing spots for Knighton if the Jaguars allow him to walk.

Knighton, 26, was a third round selection in the 2009 NFL Draft and was an instant starter for the Jaguars as a rookie. After starting the first 40 games of his career, Knighton battled injury for a short stretch in 2011 and fell out of favor with the coaches in the 2012 season, primarily serving as a backup to C.J. Mosley.

In 2012, the Jaguars allowed the third most rushing-yardage and the second-most rushing touchdowns in the NFL.
